for ages 10-14
Join us at Fiddlehead every Wednesday from 10am-2pm for STEAM-themed projects and social time with other homeschoolers! Parents do not need to stay, this is intended to be a drop off program. We will spend a lot of time outdoors so make sure to dress for the weather. Our curriculum is STEAM based and emergent in nature - adapting to the interests and abilities of the group. Please pack a snack and a lunch with your child. You are welcome to sign up for the entire semester ($135/month) or on a drop-in basis ($45/class). Sign up below!
New this year! We are now offering Makers and Leaders: a homeschool program for students ages 10-14. Participants will have the opportunity to learn and choose subjects that build upon their own interests. We will utilize our STEAM curriculum but allow more self directed projects with the goal to find projects that benefit the community. This could be a gallery show, mentoring the younger children in the STEAM Wednesday program, entering competitions - like the Eco-Maine challenge, for examples.
